Sitting in my livingroom is this sweetie many of you may have seen in the F/S sexction I was truely Green with Envy over the Zandards but this will make me a happy, happy camper I bet. I have always loved a Natural Hamer Standard. I enjoyed the Dean Time Capsule Z but Hamer has and will ALWAYS be my brand of choice. Who else has a Natural Standard they wanna post up in this thread of Standard Love I'm starting? THANKS Duane!!!!!!!!!!! Edited cause: I was hotlinking Duane's photo and he must have taken it down. Carmelita's awaits your return. Or was that the V.I.P. out on the beach we ate at? Either way great Mexican food. Guys and gals, I'm digging this guitar a ton. The USA Dean is nice but this Hamer is BING! BING! BING! I've never forgot that but hindsight what is you understand. I figure part of why I have enjoyed the Deans so much is it is a "hometown" thing. They are right here and the guys I know from there are good folks. I get to see several of the guys who work there out with their bands. The head of sales is a killer player. That guy Mick Donner in the U.S. Masters thread is the bass player. It also is really nice to be able to be somewhat of a host when they have the open house each February. We have done some very cool stuff on the nights Dean didn't schedule something. Lots fun skels in the closets of a few former attendees.

As I said in EW's Birthday thread I have this out today to give it some love. Even dug out my Minnesota North Stars shirt after posting!!! Thanks again Duane!! Wish I had got the P90 Standard but I know Fretknot will love it just as much. Maybe when he [jedimindtrick]gets tired of it [/jedimindtrick] he will let me have the chance to let it come my way.

The one that was supposed to be Robin's IIRC, isn't it #0004? On another note, I ended up keeping that Natural Dean Z too. Glad I didn't move it after all. It just wasn't in the shot Bub.

I was just "inspired" to get this one out today for a new set of strings and some playing time by the sale of the P90 Standard and Eric Weston's birthday and the Fine Orange Sparkle Standard he has.
