Brentrocks Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 I'm selling this for a friend, he is a part time Heritage Employee and a former Gibson Employee....he doesnt hava a computer, so he asked me to help him out. This is a 1960 Gibson LG3 Acoustic...it is all original and comes with the original case and hangtag. He bought this guitar brand new in early 1961 when he worked at Gibson in kalamazoo. the serial # is R7721 30, which dates it to 1960. I have this guitar in my posession so if you would like an in hand description, feel free to call me. This beautiful piece of Kalamazoo history is in almost mint condition...its a solid 9.5 out of 10....just a few small dings in the top. NO NITRO CHECKING!!!! No cracks, breaks or repairs!!!! A true time capsule!!! It features a beautiful Brazillan rosewood fretboard, Mahogany sides/back and a spruce top. It has the adjustable bridge with a ceramic saddle. It sounds great! has a nice low action, with very little buzz. here is a sound clip.... http://www.reverbnation.com/artist/song_de...0?play_now=true The seller has seen these guitars at shows in this condition for $4000+....but due to the economy he is willing to sell this wonderful piece for $2000 + shipping and PP fees. I am not getting a commission off this sale. Feel free to contact me, i will be handling the sale and shipping.... brentrocks@aol.com 269-207-7328 more pics here.... http://s3.photobucket.com/albums/y52/ebmmquilt/EBAY/
