When I read the original post and saw where this happened, I had a premonition that through the help of the LA crew, you'd see some of your stuff again.
I've got a good feeling about this. -------------------- |

Set up some automated searches on eBay. The guitars may pop up in a few months.

GOOD LUCK! It pisses me off to see stuff like this happen. Do you have lists of serial numbers?
Hopefully they weren't "pros", as people with brains might be smart enough to move them a few states away before trying to offload them. -------------------- Hamer Guitars: '93 CAR Special P90, '93 '59 Burst Studio, '00 Newport Pro Sparkle Orange

![]() This is another pic which shows the ding on the lower horn. Other than a chip on the back of the neck, the guitar is perfect other than normal aging. |

I'm in Baton Rouge, and I know every music shop owner in and around here. I'll forward a link to this thread to them and have them on the lookout. Have you contacted Jody at Jody's Music Shop in Walker? If not, let me know and I'll call him for you. My bass player in TTL manages one of two music shops in Hammond, and he knows the other store's manager well. I'm forwarding a link to this thread to him right now, and I'll share more details when I see him at rehearsal tonight. And my hobby is scouring the pawn shops and craigslist around here for deals, so I'll keep my eyes peeled. Chin up, bro, we'll do everything we can to find them. I tried calling Jody's, but no luck getting him on the phone. |

I hope you have good luck in getting your gear back!
On your LP TV Special, just wondering--are the tuner buttons original, and if so are they crumbling? If that's the case, I can imagine the a-holes wanting to put new tuner buttons or tuners on it--something else for shops to look out for. |
