Now, having said that, if I ever see a factory-made Hamer with a rebel flag on it, I will sell all my Hamers! About 30 years ago a Hamer Standard was made for Dave Hlubek of Molly Hatchet. It had the Confederate battle flag design. When I met Dave about 10 years ago he said his son owned that guitar. Considering how many of his other guitars got away from him, it is sort of good knowing that guitar is close by. Hopefully the son knows better than to let it back into Dad's hands again or it may disappear. As far as I know, Duane Roland had his Hamers up to the day he died. |

I deleted a couple of posts. No biggie but there is absolutely zero need to rehash for the bazillionth time certain issues.
-------------------- ![]() QUOTE Yeah the doofus who posted this on The Gear Page did so thinking he was exposing DLR's lack of vocal ability. Turns out the only thing he exposed was himself as someone who's obviously never been in a recording studio before and is most likely the stereotypical Gear Pager: some clueless professional type who's into guitars and music out of hero worship and a desire to recapture the excitement of his youth that's sorely lacking from his middle-aged adult existence. He's been soundly lambasted for his opinion, and rightly so. The one and only Muse. |
