  1. From what I've seen on facebook, it's something like this: #0000 is Jazzburst. #0001 is Atlantic Blueburst. #0002 is Trans Black. #0003 is Tobacco Sunburs. #0004 Antique Natural. #0005 Blueburst. #0006 is Gulfburst. There is also pics of them all on fb Posted by the two Matthes (bros?). I think the one in the pickup thread is #0000.
  2. This is so cool! There are pics and vids of #4 on fb. Is he a member here? That means there is at least four finished guitars, five If there is a #0. This also means that #12 is getting closer. This is indeed good News
  3. There ain`t much to say other than wow.
  4. Eleven on everything electric in standard pitch for the last 20 years. Tried 10`s on a strat recently but I bent out of pitch when soloing. 11`s gives me control.
  5. Just a quick knob question; What knobs where used in `78? I`ve seen black and amber bell knobs and speed knobs. Did Hamer have a random knob attachement system or was it one type and all I`ve seen is retro fitted? I Need knobs for my `78 and want it as correct as possible. Could the reflector knob on my guitar be an original? http://www.hamerfanclub.com/forums/topic/67260-my-newest-and-oldest-hamer/
  6. These two: (edited, added a pic of the Kauer Banshee)
  7. Found these on a sale from a japanese retailer for 46.000 yen. Bought two, both the flying Vee and the Explorer. Extremely nice guitars! Well made, decent harware and pickups, plays nice, balances great (after I moved the strap buttons) and lightweight. Haven`t tried these with a "real" amplifier yet (my bedroom Marshall Lead 20 doesn`t count), but first impressions are that these are snappy and midrange driven guitars. My Gibson Vees and Explorer sounds dull and muffled compared. My Hamer Korina on the other hand is still superior to them all Still really nice guitars that exceed all my expectations for such cheap guitars. I`ll post some photos tomorrow.
  8. Frozen ones at midsummer? I thought it would be the land of the trolls at this time of year. Congrats! It`s like 48F here so yeah, Also has the mail failure and replied through the contact form on the web page as I as many others wan`t to paypal this so he can start building I`m really excited about this. Thumbs up Mike.
  9. Got my confirmation today. Seems like one of these ends up in the land of the frozen ones. (aka Norway) 50`s burst with neck binding and crown inlays. May the next six months fly.
  10. I was probably too late but fingers crossed that one of these will end up i Norway.
