  1. All my best whishes to you. I´m pretty sure you´ll be sucessfull and win the fight. Have faith on yourself, you can.
  2. Very nice Gene. Lights Out is one of my favourite UFO songs.
  3. I will wide the questions with a new one focused on Artists after seeing Travis guitar: Is there enough difference in tone and fit and finish between an Artist Custom and an Ultimate? I really dig Ultimates and I´m crazy with themmbut not so sure to spend such a high money(and I have to add taxes because I´m in Europe). Also...between an Artist Mahogany and Artist maple topped,is there sglight differences only? I´m asking so many questions because I have to buy sight unseen as far as I´m not able to try any Hamer here....I´m pretty sure if I was able I would own many more Hamers for sure.
  4. Since about 2 years ago "Japan Vintage" phonemenon has grown a lot. Some japanese old(now japan vintage) guitars wer looked for and the price climbed in 4 years from 40.000 yen used to.... 180.000,sometimes to 280.000 yen for a Reborn LS-120! Way too much for me.... I appreciate Ibanez AR and AS series, sometimes are reasobanle priced and are very good guitars. The AR is different in sound and feel to a Hamer Studio, more jazzy I would say whereas the Hamer is more ..."modern"? Yamahas SG and SA series still are affordables and 2000 series are very good guitars SA models specially... Regard¡nd the "real" US vintage I cannot spend such high money altough I reckon it can worth no doubt. I´m very sold on 335s now and check regulary for late 60´s ones but still high numbers for me.
  5. Fernandes have BCRich copies in his recent catalogue, they have this copies since late 70´s.... I was not aware Greco had these for salet but they have Zemaitis (expensives). By looking the phot it´s similar to Fernandes ones and it makes sense because both brands had identical models back in the 80's(Fuji Gen made).
  6. As far as Yamaha is named on tittle I wil give my 2 cents. The SA line(kinda 335) with a spruce top is more a rocker than a jazzer despite his looking. Yamaha pickups are strong sound(I don´t care for them too much) and I prefer splitting sound better(push-push tone )pots. It´s heavier guitar than a 335 because the central block at least the one I was able to try.Very good guitars.
  7. Congratulations Kevin. It seems was a nice day for you.
  8. Another UFO fan here.Last albums are so so,but I really like first Michael Schenker ones.......I 've never have been lucky enough to see them live however.
  9. Belgian I was told that by a custom employee so go figure. They are tired of UPS way of working as they wait until they fill a cointainer so they don't ship in time,so Customs charge an extra fee they want you to pay(in fact they bill this extra fee to you too) but that's not your fault..
  10. We usually ask for USPS Global Express or simply Airmail by USPS,but I don't know if term conditions have changed since a year ago.Nick shipped to me some smal stuff through Airmail(Canadian) and it two packagesarrived safe and fast(about a week).I asked a couple of months Danny about shipping his Black Cat but he told me about some problems about size witth amps. One thing we must be awere is about double charging fees by UPS or DHL.They charge an extra(high) fee because customs tramitations they say to do but I was told by Custom employee they cant do that as it's illegal and they can be acussed breaking the(8spanish) laws.Be aware.
  11. I suspect a lot of recent Schecters are ESP made, you can see their full line in ESP Japan website, alongside with Grassroots,Edwards,Seymour Duncan and Navigator, all ESP lines.
  12. Just for clarification Tonepros warparound bridge metric posts do not fit in '96 Studio.I did a mistake and ordered a metric warp and I had to let old stocks posts(not locking).Great improvement tough, higly recomended.
