gregc
I bought a Larivvee Parlour guitar from them a couple years ago. Good price, quick shipping, no issues. That's all I know.

fretknot
They're the ones with the girls holding guitars in their print ads, right? They certainly are! Those girls are his daughters!!!. I have purchased my G&L, Larrivee, and a THD amp from Dave. He is a few hours away from me. Great guy, very patient and easy to work with. His store is actually his house. I have been there several times when I purchased my gear. Pretty talented guy, all the photos in the ad's and on his website are shot by him. No worries working with Dave. cmatthes
No - "creepy" are those Goodsell amp ads with the older gentleman plugging in and the early 20-something models crowding around him or having a pillow fight in the Studio. Those scream "LOSER!!" to me every time... cmatthes
EL, I couldn't agree with you more! Yeah...those girls can't WAIT to get with that short hairy dirty-lookin' dude! Still looking for the creepy one. I find nothing wrong with the ones with just the girls and the amps - kind of remind me of a less-charged Dean "Water" Vee ad from the '70s. Add grandpa/older math teacher/creepy neighbor guy, and it gets weird...

bizzwriter
There's a whole (long) thread on this over at the Gear Page -- been going strong for almost two years. Goodsell got an earful, and he chimed in with a bunch of responses. As I recall, he said this particular pic is of him and his daughter. Here's the thread: http://www.thegearpage.net/board/showthread.php?t=244387 So, yeah -- any customer concerns about his taste in women have been duly noted by Mr. Goodsell. Brewmaster
Thanks Guys................ BTW, I don't have any daughters for any future amp ads so you will have to look elsewhere for "creepy factor". Any pics of Poe butt still hanging around? Now THAT would be creepy !!! BadgerDave
Anyone else want to know what Mom looks like? Seems to me she's have to be pretty spectacular to override Dad's shortcomings and produce an offspring of that caliber.Or have I just veered off into old guy creepyville, too?
