anotherfreak
Any body got any ideas about the little wedge/spacer Hamer used on the Newports?
cmatthes
They made those in the Hamer shop - those are/were a proprietary design. Not sure if there's a Vibramate solution for that out there or not... (??)
gorch
I remember the making-of article in Jols blog at the time. Those were indeed individually hand made pieces.
anotherfreak
I may just have to slap a B7 on there. Also this is a Newport Custom, so I don't have tailpiece studs.
RBG
I recently installed a Bigsby using a Vibrate on my SuperPro and it worked out very well. The back end of the Bigsby floats over the arch of the body but it seems to be very stable. Only downside is the Bigsby is placed slightly more "forward" than a Monaco but you get use to it.
