HAMER STANDARD 1987 question?

hey guys I have run across a 1987 Hamer standard plain mahogany finish with original case from a local guy. The serial number begins with 7.  He says it in good condition with one small chip in the edge. What is this one worth today?? I have not seen it yet but he is willing to meet.

Do you have more info on the serial number (or are you certain that it is an '87)?
Those two things didn't always coincide back then.

no I do not suppose to meet him tonight and will know more........it is not a 4 serial number. seen a dark photo ....silver tom setup with standard white pickguard and black switch tip and gold nobs. He says there is paperwork with it too.

That would likely make it a 1997 model, wouldn't it?  So a '97 'hog Standard might run, what, $1800?

Sounds like a MahStand from 1997 to me.  $1,300 to $2,000 depending on condition and buyer/seller motivation.
