Mike does them in batches.  Any number of factors can either make things go faster or slower than the last batch.  Not really predictable, because things can change, parts can be delayed, wood doesn't cooperate, tools don't cooperate, LIFE doesn't cooperate...  ;)

Im not particularly creative,but when I saw the top for mine in the raw, I-saw it finished. My top is beautiful but I think the finish takes  it to the next level !

I had dinner with my wife at Ruth's Chris, saw Eric Johnson and Areille (fantastic new Austin talent) and got an e-mail from Mike and Trish upon returning home.  The day just got better and better.  I just love seeing Mike's hands building my guitar.  It's so cool...
