My goodness what could this be? ;)

Must stay tuned!!!!

Amongst Diablo, cmatthes, or me, I'm not sure who loves green the most as a finish color.

I seem to recall that someone around here had an uncompleted/unfinished Cali (or was it a Chap?) doubleneck body. Hmmm....

Green sparkle, hmm...is Stike doing the paint on this?

My thought too. Looks pretty much like a stiked Hamer refin.

It is like giving birth to a baby, "first came the head".

Post more pics when it's out of the birth canal. Love the sparkle.

In the spirit of HFC tradition, I'll go ahead and say it, "It needs a Kahler..."

I actually sold the Cali Double case plug to fellow green-fan, Jon Maye (Mc2)!  I think he's got some big plans for that one...hopefully he's having green thoughts.

That's the other twin!  Serial hates Floyds (Kahler guy).

I am down to one Floyd these days, but miss a few of the Calis I've had in the past, hence this one.

Not at all.  100% Hamer factory build, but Stike is doing the finish.

I had BOTH of those when I was a kid!!

But can you remember their names? All original Hot Wheels models had cool monikers.

I had a few of those as well - the Batmobile with the Batboat and the small Batman and Robin to go in them.

Blue one is the Twin Mill and for a minute I thought the other was the Whipped Creamer but it's not.

Twin Mill is the one name I could remember also.

Hot Wheels were an immense part of my childhood.

I sometimes have these odd flashbacks (not drug flashbacks - a strange quasi-deja-vu) when I see certain colors.  I eventually traced it back to certain Hot Wheels colors - the originals, not those goofy, stenciled Flying Colors colors.  There are still at least two of those cardboard storage containers full of orange track up in my parent's attic.  My brother and I had every set imaginable. I think the first we got was the Snake and Mongoose set.13362899_2.jpg?v=8CF3A68D43433D0

I do find it funny that these are now collector's pieces.  Ours were completely beat - we played with them!

Love me some Hot Wheels and their colors.  And for the record, real Hot Wheels had redline tires just like dad's Goat back in the day! [/hijack]  :)
