Willie G. Moseley
I may have asked this several years ago, but as I was going over some of the Black Friday deals online, I noted Gibson Les Paul "Traditional" and "T" models. I thunk it had something to w/ construction (maybe multiple-piece bodies and/or tops) but would appreciate any clarification. Thanks in advance. Thundersteel
The Traditional (T) models have no weight relief, and I believe they use Klusons. I think those are the only differences.
Steve Haynie
Beware of the Gibson "Made on Friday" models.
murkat
USA models will have multiple pieces of mahogany except when noted.

I think those are the only differences. Is there a difference between the "Traditional (T)" and "Traditional"? On Traditionals, whether or not they're weight relieved, I believe, depends on the year. Gisbon certainly doesn't make it easy for consumers.
scottcald
I own a Gibson Les Paul Signature T I got a few years back. It has the 9 hole weight relief.
BadgerDave
I had a 2016 Traditional T. It had a very nice, chunky '59 profile neck. I believe that is one of the differences. Mine was well built and a good value for the price.
tbonesullivan
Now if only they had cut the price on SG standards, instead of jacking it up 150 a few weeks ago.
