Newly Acquired Talladega

I have always wanted a Talladega and the opportunity finally came. This is Hamer #6 in my stable and the first guitar I have ever owned with this kind of top. I have really enjoyed playing this guitar over the past couple of weeks.

Was there a certificate that identified the finish?   Not many like that.  Where did you find it?  Very nice. Congrats.

No certificate so I don’t know what the official color name is. I purchased it from someone local.

It is at least in the same ballpark as the "Tiger Eye" finish, which I used to have on both a Talladega and Talladega Pro. Sort of like "Root Beer".

I would say that Root Beer is the best description of the color for sure.

Very nice!

Tallies are great guitars.

What does the back, of the body and the neck, look like?

What year is it?

Gabe :)

No idea what year it is. Serial number is 755368. Perhaps someone can tell me. Here is a couple of shots of the back.
