Moseley Posted December 14, 2017 Share Posted December 14, 2017 More memorabilia mongering: Okay, what about pictures of instruments you played way back when that ended up becoming collectible (in most folks' opinions)? I would think such instruments should have been bona fide utility instruments instead of something you happened to own back then but didn't use (much). Nor should such instruments have been "hoarded" back then as speculation (nobody really knew that the vintage guitar phenomenon would grow to a gargantuan size) but it's OK if you regret having parted with it. As for me, that's a fretless Ampeg plexi bass in this photo from a 1974 Christmas party at an apartment complex clubhouse. Reportedly, only about 150 fretless examples were made.
