Based n the pickups it would appear to be #58

Don't feel the price is steep myself, I would not sell mine for that. Mine does have a nicer top:)

This ^^^^  And ArnieZs' does have a nicer top.

Yes, there have been Ultimate Artists that have sold for less. It's a buyers market and those that sold for less have been steals - everyone of them.   Although these are not "rare" in comparison to some limited runs, at the time, those guitars reflect the "Ultimate" of the New Hartford manufacturing.  The binding alone is mind-blowing when you account that it is all hand laid.

Its in Barcelona so GLWS!

I think the price looks good.  The last time I saw one in the UK a few years ago it was a cognac coloured one and was priced at £1850 without the case and with fading hardware.

I think that's a 25th Anniversary Ltd. rather than an Ultimate.

That Ultimate definitely ranks up there for the nicest Artist I've ever seen.  The frosting on the cake is the chrome hardware.  I personally don't care for gold hardware or the Cognac finish on most Ultimate's.  I have previously owned 3 Custom Artist's that I though were outstanding themselves.  If you're interested you can always submit an offer.

That has saved me from jumping on a bunch of guitars that I have otherwise thought too much of!

Artist Ultimates came with two certificates, the one from Hamer and the one from Seymour Duncan for the pickups (Custom Shop).

Ask for both or I can phone the seller for you if interested in.
