Tortious
Wow. Clearly worth it just for the extensive, detailed and super hi-res photography in the ad.

Studio Custom
This guitar has changed hands numerous times. If memory serves at around 5k.
Ua D
I guess this makes the 9k standard on reverb look like a steal. Hamer Standard 1981 Sunburst https://reverb.com/item/9706247-hamer-standard-1981-sunburst
cmatthes
I may (or may not) know where the original CNC proto of that one is at this hour...

crunchee
Might as well be Tree-fitty K. I'll bet it's a PITA just to lug the Calzone case around, but if someone can afford it for $30 K, they can afford to have their own assigned roadie on retainer. DBraz
$30K? Wow. I think we, on here, can be a bit guilty of undervaluing just how good our Hamers are however in today's market that's flat out nuts. Dont get me wrong it's a beautiful guitar with some lovely abalone and its unique quality, to someone, will add value but...
kizanski
And it's a 1958, which is incredibly rare.

RobB
This looks like Pete Flynn. “Northwestern suburbs” was a dead giveaway.
mirrorimij
Wow. That one guitar was a project that Jol and I did. If it was $5k I would have to talk myself down- thank God its30k. took me all freakin day to find a suitable piece of maple that was wide enough for a two piece top. Anybody know if he finally ever sold that Hamer Standard, that was double-signed on the flamed maple top by Rick Nielsen? He was wanting a bunch of money for that one, too. cmatthes
I'm not 100% sure that Pete didn't sell that one, judging from the description - he knows his Hamers better than to call it a "1958 Hamer 1275"...

mc2
Th FUNNIEST part is this didn't sell when the guy was trying to get like $7000 for it at the peak of the vintage market around 10 years back.
dhuber
I'm guessing 14 lbs, am I close? or is the whole thing chambered?
Camstone
So the guitar is roughly $2000.00 a pound.
