I can't reveal much at the moment but that much I know: 6 strings, 2 humbuckers, maple top (that I got to choose last year in April when I was visiting the Shishkov Empire) matching headstock and Mike is already on it .I've got proof (and no, it's not a lefty :-) .....Thank you Trish, for the pictures!!!

Look somewhat similar to something I have in mind if I can work up the scratch.

DO IT and worry about the balance later.

Absolutely.  You'll have PLENTY of time to save up.

Do these guitars have a certain head stock, or can you pick your own shape?

Mike offers a few headstock shapes - a 3x3, a 6-in-line and a reverse 6-in-line (pictured above and below)

Keeping on the head theme, I think the head is very important. ACDC's album if you want blood, has Angus being stabbed with his SG, but as we all know that 3x3 head stock could never have inflicted that sort of wound, however a BC Rich ST111 from the late 80's, could definitely cause some damage, so if you want your guitar to be useful in a bar brawl, BC Rich all the way, the Shishkov would get you killed. This is important stuff.

I'm under strict obligation to Trish in terms of posting images....

Imagine how I felt when I got the first ever six inline contoured headstock photos for my build, let alone the original pencil drawings.

So exciting.
