Looking for a B4M or B4S

Recommended Posts

My B8S is lonely and would like a companion 4 string.  I'd love to find a B4M.  I know that's a tough find because there were only a handful made.  A B4S would find a happy and welcoming home as well.  All my basses get played, so life as a played and beloved instrument would go on.  Thanks for looking.

Great playing 👍🏻

Reminds me of a film I saw when I was a teenager 🤔

Was it a porno?

A couple of those B4S basses look real familiar 😀  I may have a couple more that I might let go.

These two B4S basses were both custom ordered together and have SEQUENTIAL Serial Numbers...and played by the late Howie Epstein, bass player, most famously for Tom Petty's Heartbreakers.

Epstein played bass on recordings by Eric AndersenBob Dylan,[4] Carlene CarterJohnny CashJohn HiattStevie NicksRoy OrbisonCarl PerkinsJohn PrineLinda RonstadtDel Shannon, The Textones, The Village People and Warren Zevon.

He earned acclaim as a songwriter and a producer. Epstein produced two albums for John Prine, 1991’s The Missing Years, which won a Grammy Award[4] for Best Contemporary Folk Recording, and Lost Dogs and Mixed Blessings.[2] He also produced Eric Andersen’s Memory Of The Future (1998).
