SOLD Budda SuperDrive SD30 with cool mods - Price Drop

Recommended Posts

Budda SuperDrive 30 Series II 2x12 combo - Pre-Peavey model.

Has a couple of really cool mods. Half-power switch drops it down to about 12.5 watts. Bright switch allows you to switch between stock mode and a Bright mode. Adds a lot more presence to the tone.

Amp has been gigged but is still in overall good condition. Ernie Ball pop-out casters were added for easy mobility. Includes Budda vinyl cover.

This is killer amp that gets very loud if needed. 30 watts that sounds more like 50 watts. Four EL84 power tubes and three 12AX7 preamp tubes. The amp was retubed with all new Sovtek tubes about a year ago and don’t have a lot of use on them.

Jeff Bober (designer of the Budda amps) signed the back. Could probably be removed, I’ve never tried.

SOLD

I don't have a shipping box so I'm going to say Local PU for now.
I'm about an hour from Chicago, Madison Wilwaukee areas.

Cool Amp, I bet the bright switch works well when in half power. I know my east could use it in half power mode.

Yep, since it's a pentode/triode half-power switch it gets a little darker in half power mode. Bright switch compensates for the darkness.

When Peavey ended up taking over Budda, you were thrust to one side or the other. Side A that it was going to be good for a struggling brand to have the manufacturing side taken care of or Side B they were going to suck the life out of the brand. History has decided which side was correct. THESE AMPS ROCK!
