jbrooke
I bought a case off Ebay and I guess it was for a shorter "strat/tele" than the Daytona as the Daytona was too long and I had to ship it back 😟. I figured that a "strat" case would fit. I was wondering if anybody here has a vintage style GnG Fender case with a Daytona in it or are the Daytona's too long??  Thanks
cmatthes
My Daytonas all fit in Strat cases - two are G&G Strat/Tele cases. Â
kizanski
Why wouldn't it for in a Strat case??
BTMN
They fit in Dean LiteLeer Caddy cases too. Since you are Tampa Bay local, as Dean is, you might try to get one of those. On Evilbay but this is in Cape Coral. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Dean-Guitars-LL-EG-Lightweight-Case-for-Dean-Solid-Body-Electrics-Form-Fit/132540861705?hash=item1edc0d0d09:g:~YwAAOSwve1arC0x
jbrooke
Thanks guys. I was wondering if it was a Mustang case or something. I've had many strats with this style case and I seem to remember room left over, so it had me puzzled too. Thanks for the replies. It must have been for another size guitar. Funny BTMN that you mention Dean as I saw an old friend that worked for Dean for a while today, unexpectedly. I am going to have to get to the Tampa shop on a tour one day.
BTMN
Call ahead and they have public tours on Thursday afternoons or sign up and come to the Dean Owners open house in November.
