Rick G
What Pickup leg length should I buy when replacing a humbucker in a Special FM (flat top), Artist Archtop Semi Hollow, or Archtop Solid body?
tbonesullivan
Best way to find out would be to pull the pickups, and see how deep the routing is. I know that the stock pickups in the bridge were long-legged Seymour Duncan '59s in many, so they have the deep routing, even on guitars like a Diablo. triodecr
Short legs will definitely fit. Best to measure to ensure the long legs will fit before ordering the pickups.
Rick G
Thanks Tbone! I was hoping that was the case. Looking to try some Dimarzio 36th Anniversary pups and they only seem to be made with long legs.
Rick G
Tridecr, I am not certain Dimarzio even makes that as an option on the PAF 36th Anniversary models.
