bigolsparky
Hamer Blitz Even as beat up and modded as it is, seems like a deal to me.
polara
I saw that one... Probably good wood on it. I assume it had a Sustainblock vibrato originally, looking at the route on the back.. Good bones on it, mystery pickups.

LordsoftheJungle
That's priced like $2000 too low. 😎

gorch
Appears quite nice to me. Price is alright too. Would have pulled the trigger on that one.
Steve Haynie
No dough! Drat! It would be mine if I could swing it.
Dave Scepter
IMO, These are Hamer Hidden Treasures... They're great guitars & if you can find one with a sustain block bridge... SNAG IT!
BadgerDave
Sadly, it has the wrong headstock. 😟
HoboMan
Dang! If that was local to me I'd snag it.
bodp471
original pickups - tuners - sustain block long gone . Finish looks like a refin but color is uniform through out and serial number still intact - neck has an odd texture different than rest of guitar but again uniform with rest .Matthes bros , is this a standard Hamer color ? Pretty solid guitar .
kizanski
Why do you think it's a refin?
Jim Browne
Man, I love that color! Missed the ad, when it was still up, so I'm glad to get to see this. How much did it sell for?
bodp471
thought may be refin because neck is not as smooth as rest of guitar - slight roughness like it was re cleared . who knows ??? Bought for $400 - hesitate to post that as I may recycle this one back to the masses ala ebay - reverb . needed a correct case for an 86 blitz so will keep that for sure , that was worth the effort and expense alone . Steve Haynie
A buffing wheel can take out the roughness.

Jim Browne
It looked magenta/purple (on my screen, at least), in all but the back-of-headstock photo.
cmatthes
Maybe "Lazer Pearl"? I think that came later though.
