1993 Hamer Special, excellent shape, some small dings but nothing really visible except a small crack in the varnish at the neck junction (just the paint, nothing structural)

I will happily pick up the cost for UK shipping- or I can travel for the right sale- I've done that before - it's always nice to hand over a Hamer and see someones face light up when they open the case!

Anyway, more about the guitar- I have the original amber knobs, but not the original bridge pickup I'm afraid. I was changed out to a Dimarzio Air Norton ( I had a habit a few years back of all my guitars having different sounding bridge pickups ). Dimarzio strap lock buttons installed too.

Plays and sounds amazing, as you would expect! Regretting this already.....£1900.

Pic of how it looked before I cleaned it up and some more recent ones. Has a brass nut and I had to get a switch tip for it. The volume pot for the neck pickup cuts in and out and probably needs to be replaced. Looks like one strap button has been replaced. There are some dings that don't photograph well but I tried to show everything as clearly as I could. 3-piece neck. Humbucker rings are replacements but the originals are in the case. It has had changed tuners, now back to original 70s Grovers but not original to this particular guitar. HFC deal for EUR 3.000,- excluding any fees, potential shipping etc.

I'm not crazy about shipping this guitar so if anyone interested here has the chance to pick it up in person that would be great (Dusseldorf, Germany), but I can and will ship in the EU, have done it before, should be fine. Shipping to the US is impossible at the moment for me (wouldn't now how to insure it properly, super expensive etc), sorry!

Medium neck, frets still great, no breaks/ repairs, original case with red plush, later 1978 already with the sustain block (which I love).

I’m selling my Hamer USA Standard Custom, built in 2007.

It’s in pristine condition, complete with the original hardshell case, COA, and case candy.

You guys know what these things are, so, I’ll spare you the blah-blah.

Yet, worth mentioning it’s transparent red and features a highly figured flame maple top and matching headstock veneer. 

IMPORTANT: The pickups are Seymour Duncan JB & 59, but aren’t the ones that came originally with the guitar —I never had those. These pups do sound amazing though, you know this combo is a safe bet.

Now the price:

Here I am offering a 1992 Hamer Special P-90. The third I have owned. These are great no frill players guitars.

This one has the TV finish, tending more toward the natural side than fully yellow. So, pinkish-a common  color on these guitars. In the photo album below you'll see that Parkway got a redder finish in their pictures(indoors under lights). . My pics  are yellower (in the case pictures) and are at least in daylight, more accurate. This is an attractive guitar with 30 years of respectable wear on it. 

Fret wear is minimal, just a bit on 1-3. 

Finish is fine. Some lacquer checking at the heel as usual. Some abrasions through the finish on the corners of the headstock both faces. Other than that it's in VG++++condition.

Pickups are original as far as I know with black covers.

Neck is tending toward thinner rather than chunky and has a nice feel. This guitar plays wonderfully and sounds really fine. 

I want to get   $1150.00 including  shipping. Payment via either a check, cashiers check, or paypal if you don't mind adding 3 percent on that platform.
