Are these guitars Brazilian Rosewood? Looks for all the world like Indian. I think I'll just take it off the market for now. Thank you all. I'll try to get this thread deleted if possible.

Ok, no sale on eBay and no sale here. I'll be taking these pickups out and putting something else in there. If it's really a 6-700 dollar guitar (which is absolutely incredible to me), there's no need to keep pickups in there that are worth half that before I sell it or give it away.

Decided not to sell the Modulus for now, but added a '68 Gibson SG to my auctions. The Hamer is still available.

If I'm way off on pricing, please let me know. If it is any lower, I may just give it to the local school. It is a bit hard to believe these tend to go for less than $1000, but that does seem to be the case. I attempted to price it right, but please let me know if I'm out of line.

Thanks guys - I changed it to say "finish checking." In any event, it's finish only. And yes, the finish is nitro and so this isn't surprising. It's really a thin finish and has shrunk back, even on the top. Hard to photo though.

Now just $800 paypal'd AND shipped. FS is a Hamer Special from 1980 in very good condition with the checkerboard on the headstock and a set of period-correct late 70s Bill Lawrence L500 pickups, which were endorsed and used by Joe Perry at the time. I must emphasize how good this guitar sounds...
