Wow, it appears I melded two different concerts in my mind. It was Uriah Heep at that show not Thin Lizzy. I was talking to my brother about it this summer where he told me I wrong and I didn't believe him. Just googled it and sure enough.
BTW: It didn't suck from what I remember. It was 76'...
Gigging bars/clubs with my AC15 almost exclusively at this point...plenty loud and my tone just gets better as the knob turns up along with the clock. (had to include the picture of my trusty ole 79' Hamer Sunburst)

Nothing new or earth shaking but as an owner of 79' Sunburst I thinks it's still cool.
Big variance on P90 type pick-ups IMO. I love the old Hamer Specials but hated the Duncan P90 as it was too hot & wonky for my taste. Lollar 50's wind P90's are my current favorite.
I left a band with paying gigs when this was a hit because the lead singer/keyboard player insisted we play this song. I now realize I might have been guilty of taking myself to seriously...then again, it still sucks.
79' Crowned and Bound Sunburst (which I won't be selling) or a 95' Fender Custom Shop Strat. I've owned more expensive guitars but since I like to play them in places where dings happen I have left the art pieces to others.
Here's the Hamer...
AC15 and my trusty 79' Sunburst for me...I mic the cab for the house with a SM57 and just use the amp as personal monitor. 15 class A watts and I never have issues hearing myself over the drummer (typically run it at 7 master and 4 gain). I've played pretty big rooms (700-800 people) and mostly...
Nicely done...I've got a 79' B&C Sunburst and I would never sell it that cheap (if at all). I've played much more expensive Gibsons that aren't nearly as good.
Dan Huff...amazingly talented studio cat that decided he wanted to be rock star. Did that for a few years with Giant and is now one the most in-demand producers on the Nashville scene. Best part is that I bet he can still go the grocery store without anybody recognizing him.
I never did which is likely why I'm still a marginal player after 35 years. The one guy I knew who did play that much was a complete freak of nature player that ended up touring the world with Johnny Winter and bunch of other major acts. It was like a job (not one I wanted) and he came home 2AM...
I just came off it last week as my wife is doing another program and it just made things less chaotic around meals to switch to her plan. I lost 35lbs on Atkins in 2001 but it seemed to be a lot easier back then to find specialty low carb foods as it was the hot fad. I gained all that weight...
