I’m pretty sure it’s the Greenpeace guitar but I thought it had boomers.  Maybe the neck has been replaced.  I’ll ask next time I see him.  

Caught a Gary Hoey show tonight and he brought out the old Hocus Pocus guitar with the beautiful O’Connor artwork.   Still sounds awesome. 

He was a great guy to talk with.  I met him at Bruce’s place back in 2010.  He fought a similar cancer to the one I had and we chatted a few times about it in recent years.  RIP Ray. 

There’s a thread going off the rails and down an embankment over in the Outer Circle if you’re interested.   Still, that is pretty crappy news.  The prognosis is good but the treatment SUCKS.

I know what he’s in for.  It’s not a smooth road. It hurts like hell to swallow your food and the radiation burns are very uncomfortable.   Bruce Dickinson got through it and came back.  Hope the same goes for DM

Nice guy for sure.  I never got to meet him in person but he was very encouraging to me when I went through my own cancer thing a couple years ago.  We did get to have a nice Skype chat about all that and some Hamer stuff too.  Godspeed, my friend.

It’s true!   Been there - I’m over a year post treatment.  You get 7 weeks of radiation to your neck plus a weekly dose of chemo.  Just now getting my singing voice back.
