Just read the email. Sad news. I'm glad I had the chance to tour the factory and jam with the HFC. Also glad for my 3 Hamers, particularly my Artist Custom.
All my electrics are Hamers.
1993 Special FM
2001 Duotone Custom (F-Hole)
1996 Artist Custom (my fav)
All the rest of my guitars are acoustics including Martin, Alvarez-Yairi, Dobro and others.
I'm still partial to the first Dylan record I bought in the '60s, which was "Highway 61 Revisited".
Like a Rolling Stone
Tombstone Blues
Ballad of a Thin Man
Queen Jane Approximately
Highway 61 Revisited
Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues
Desolation Row

I'd swing by Pro Guitar Shop just south of Portland. They have the most amazing display of boutique pedals I've ever seen. Check out the Catalinbread pedals while there. Also, plenty of great guitars and amps.
I use a Phat Cat in the neck of my 1996 Hamer Artist Custom. I have a Seth Lover in the bridge. The Phat Cat in this position on this guitar is BY FAR the most favorite tone I get through a variety of amps of any of my guitars and pickups.
It was a nice event at BCR Music yesterday. When I arrived, I'll bet there were 12 - 15 people lined up at the cash register. My buddy Fred and I wandered around for quite a bit and chatted with folks.
Greg put a particularly nice acoustic guitar in my hands, which I really enjoyed. There...
