As for the Guitar Summit in Mannheim this year, I will wear dark smart glasses and trenchcoat. Licensed FBI agent - Fender Bollocks Intelligence. There will be more with the same idea…
…totally confusing. Who should enforce and execute on Fender‘s behalf in Europe? This will be more expensive for Fender than hiring the best and creating the best for available money. Not to speak about loss of reputation. This is simply stupid.
I found this Gibson Spirit :

This is Hamer‘s Sunburst origin, isn‘t it? I get identical GAS symptoms!
Brand it on the backside somewhere as fake and have fun!
I have a fake Fender Strat Custom Shop Heavy Relic in Seafoam green. Its fun simply looking at it!
Thank you for sharing your experience with these full size wedges. This makes a lot of sense to me. I saw how shim stripes bend the neck in the heel resulting in string buzz, too. Alternatively sanding/planing the neck heal or the pocket requires tools and tons of practice. How did you figure the wedge size/angle?
What about the tales around perfect neck pocket fits to support the tone of a guitar? All the craftsmen ship aside to create of a clean firm fit between body and neck - how can this have any impact on tone? E.g. what about tilting the neck with a micro tilt or a shim in the neck pocket? The created triangle air gap of wont resonate. Is it a myth, that firm pocket fits support tone, or am I missing something?
Background: I have two strats with high action…also I found the shims under several bolted necks.
I am not a singer. However, I’d like to add some vocals here and there. But I don't want to move forward/sideways/whatever towards a mike stand and step dance back and forth to foot controls, nor freeze static. So a headset should do, shouldn’t it?
