California residents - are you all ok?
Drendino replied to Bennyboy-UK's topic in Hamer Fan Club Messageboard
FWIW, MILFS are cool. Funny you should ask, I tend to leave my guitars on rack stands, always fearing the big one but thinking "probably not today". Fortunately those flimsy stands held up but I'm not rolling the dice anymore! Pictures or it didn't happen. Glad you got through it OK, though. I'll have to post those Channel 7 breaking news photos in the Outer Circle! -

Thanks! We are about 15-20 miles from the epicenter. Scared the heck out of us but in retrospect it was kind of funny seeing all of the neighborhood MILFS out in the streets in their skinnies! Our only damage was our large bathroom mirror that came off the wall. No idea how it didn't fall and shatter. Many others unfortunately were not as lucky. -
PSA: Trans Black Talladega

Awesome, congrats! Looking forward to the tone report.I almost sold my EM Tally a while ago. Fortunately no one bought it before I came to my senses. I put a set of Throbaks in and it has become one of my favorite guitars. It is definitely safe from elimination. -
FS: Earthen Maple Studio #20
Drendino replied to Drendino's topic in For Sale - Wanted to Buy - PIF - eBay & Other PSAs
I know the Tally does not have a true Fender scale... The Tally isn't a true Fender scale? My bad, scale is a bad word to use. Probably should have said feel because of the 14" radius and use of HBs. One thing about that spec sheet is that I have a hard time believing that it is .95 at the nut. Does not feel huge and I have played soft Vs that are smaller at the nut and feel bigger than the Tally. I'm going to have to measure one of these days. -

Thanks. I totally agree about the EM Studio, and not just because I am selling it. Something has to go and I'm a Fender guy at heart. Last time I tried to sell the Studio I made the mistake of playing it before I listed it. This time I'm not touching it. The Lollars transformed it into a great instrument. I played a Newport with the Seths and it sounded good. Not so much in the Studio IMHO. I don't know about you, but the BRW board on my Studio is darker and tighter than my Tally. Just looks and feels like a superior grade piece of wood and is one of the ingredients to what makes the instrumen -
Edited to say: Sold to Roshark. Glad it stayed in the family and a great guy to boot! Guys, I've got to break up the kids. I'm selling my Earthen Maple Studio #20 with OHSC and COA. Near mint condition with a solid 9.5 out of 10. I can't find any blemishes but am still calling it near mint since its not new. I would like to sell with the Lollar Low Wind Imperial HBs in place and of course I will include the stock SDs. I would like to clear $2,650, which I think is a good deal. I would consider putting in the stock Duncans and excluding the Lollars to get the price down to $2,300. However, the

Couldn't agree more. If you guys decide to band together and would make a T style guitar, count me as an official pre-order! I am serious about that!

I feel sick to my stomach reading this. Wishing the best for you guys and your families. You have provided countless people with immeasurable joy and hope that it is returned in the future x10. I believe that good things happen to good people and while I don't know any of you guys personally, my gut tells me that you are all good peeps.

Don't know if its helping or hurting. Contains some bare skin. The add says: Used: An item that has been used previously. The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear, but is fully operational and functions as intended. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fender-Strat-1969-Teal-Green-Metallic-rebuilt-copy/171254388531?_trksid=p2045573.c100033.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.RVI%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20635%26meid%3D5162839471652581516%26pid%3D100033%26prg%3D9200%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D151243797679

This is a topic that I find myself pointlessly debating every day with a buddy of mine. He is constantly trying to disprove the law of "you get what you pay for" and spends an ungodly amount of time and money chasing the brass ring of tone with cheap foreign guitars. Thats all good and fine, except when he tells me they are "as good as..." just before they go on Ebay. I just told him that Two Buck Chuck tastes fine, its got all of the same ingredients as a fine wine and is perfectly drinkable. Just don't start comparing it to my Silver Oak and we are fine! Its uncanny that builders like Nik Hu -
