  1. Some interest but no $$ yet. Feel free to offer if you are so inclined.
  2. Oh, and btw in that other thread abotu Oxford and Chapa Heeyah, don’t forget the other schools in this area if you are looking. Duke, NCState, UNC Asheville and others, etc. Lots of places around this area if you happen to be looking academic, LS. Not cheap any more, but all the same not metro east or west coast, either. There are still reasonable places and prices to be found. Now to your regularly scheduled show …..
  3. Note, we are talking about the classics before they were labeled as classics on the headstock. Yeah it makes no sense
  4. Lovely guitar. A bit prettier than mine, but similar. I will go snap a bad picture.
  5. Dont know tons about Ls but always wanted one and finally grabbed a 93 Classic, one of the first run of those. Less than half the cost of current custom shops but from what i read, essentially the same. It has a 60s neck but not too skinny and seems like a good lp to me. also it has a little age on it, like me So i tend to appreciate that while I was looking i also thought about sg, yamaha sg, weddington etc as alternatives, and actually bougt a Yamaha sbg full disclosure - i am selling it - not because it isnt actually a better playing guitar, but because it just isnt what i wanted for a long long time so go get your lp keep an eye out for the first gen classics like everything else they are often way overpriced but every once in a while they are more reasonable best of luck on the hunt
  6. And fwiw i think the pricing on the yamaha is pretty good. 1900-2k depending as above. The fender is harder to figure out. Fewer data points/less common. I figure this is what it would take for me to sell it. Ow will keep It and find some space. Not a huge sacrifice. All said, open to debate or just chat guitars, amps, or other hobbies.
  7. Yeah they are not terribly common and black is the fastest color! i responded to pm. Took a couple videos of the sbg and can text. Did it in nat light w lots of glare so you can see the unpolished player glory. Happy to do same for the EE. also have some local CL interest but you never know.
  8. https://www.soundpure.com/p/hamer-studio-custom-aztec-gold-guitar-352925-used/32602 No relation to this guitar, etc, etc. Only disclosure is that I am selling other stuff there (an acoustic) and have previously via consignment at this store, and so do check the website now and then. That's why I was there, surfing'. FWIW. I mean this just as an FYI for the Hamer faithful. No comment on price from me, either, other than I don't know what this one is worth (except, perhaps, $350).
  9. Id like to see/hear the show! Play through a boogie?
  10. Absolutely nothing. That said, i have never seen a blue one. That would be lovely. There was a very cool green one - maybe the last? - that I covet. But, yeah, red N90s are the bees knees.
  11. Just such a cool guitar. Were i worthy it would be fun. But that guitar is wayyyy better than i am. GLWS. It’s a beauty.
  12. No affiliation, etc, etc. Just stumbled across as I was surfing, looks used and put away wet. I know squat about these models or if a good price, but I suspect it is on the lower end. Have fun. https://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/msg/d/bristow-hamer-electric-guitar-steve/7567256293.html
  13. I have an interesting and similar guitar. Chris fleming put it together, a one off. Maybe just for fun or a prototype or something. Those pickups whatever they are called are pretty good
  14. Yeah. I asked if he was gonna put one of those esquire ones (?rawhide) up but, alas, nope. Cool stuff though. Kinda wonder what is next.
  15. A smaller store on the same side of the street as Manny’s , across from Rudy’s (where i bought a Rickenbacker 360 while in college). The name of the store will likely come to me at some point between 3-4AM one random eve, but i cant recall just now. i used to surf the little shops in the village and soho, too. Grabbed a 73 martin d18 -12 in the early 80s for nothing on one of my excursions. Still have that. Woo’d my bride with it playing under a streetlamp (well, she was amused by that but all the other girls loved it, so i was covered!) and made beer money out in harvard square back in the day. During high school, cutting lawns served me well and bought guitars and amp!
  16. 1 x 1980, black, dots. Bought in new in NYC. Refret, maybe a pot changed, cant recall. That's about it. Still my baby.
  17. Ps somebody buy the d?&$ black PT. MOnaco is fab but the PT is just cool. Buy them, both. There womt be another monaco like that one in a while.
