  1. If The Muse doesn't want to sell, PM me. I might be able to fix you up.
  2. I let a lot of stuff go. Some of it was guitars and cars. Some of it was baggage. Reconnected with some old friends, lost a couple along the way but in both cases, I sleep well at night. As much as I try to stop it, the Kizanski Revolving Door of Underplayed Guitars keeps spinning around, but that's ok. I got the opportunity for a "Do Over" with my long lost '78 Black Bastard Sunburst, and crossed another off of my Bucket List in the Pete5 build/modification, both thanks to Jay murcat. So, some good came out of it. The rumors of my demise (which I had started) ran their course, and since I was of the opinion that what was desperately missing on the HFC was a healthy dose of ME, I decided on a whim (which is the way I make all decisions in my life) to return. So, to those that have asked me "Why?", the answer is "For YOU!" And you're welcome. I got the opportunity to freelance as a writer and was able to sell a few pieces of my nonsense, so the Bucket List has a couple of more things crossed off of it. A recent hobby has become life-changing and will eventually become a career-changing, or at least something that will supplement my living. Hopefully sooner than later. We'll see what 2012 brings, but I don't put much stock in New Years or N.Y. Resolutions. My gym is loaded with people who suddenly, because of a new page on their calendar, have the motivation to make a change in their body, and through that, their life. I call it The Meeting of the Pretenders With the Contenders (or the Wannabes and the Gonnabes). By about the first week of February, we'll see who's who, but until then I know one thing: Parking spaces will be harder to come by. What does this have to do with reflections of the past year? About as much as hanging a new calendar on your wall suddenly changes your life. Very little. But it's a pretty good excuse for a party and I could use one of those. Be safe, you knuckleheads.
  3. Welcome. Get out while you still can.
  4. The Muse might sell his. And it's a beauty.
  5. That doesn't look at all original to me.
  6. Yes, i think it is. I had a girl at the UPS Store some years ago comment on my use of the "This End Up" phrase written on the box, "That's like telling the driver 'Please kick here.' Just put the label on the top, ok?" Funny bunch of guys, aren't they?
  7. Use HDS from now on.
  8. YAY! I win! In your FACE, HHB!
  9. Sure! Agree when BILL says it, but when Mike said it last week...
  10. Is that an age thing? It seems the older I get, the more I'm drawn to Standards, Firebirds, the BillyBo(!) ~ anything not LP/Jr/Strat-shaped. Never considered the RD, though. Hmmmmmm..............F*ck You Shaped Guitars, as the Mighty REE-shard once told me.
  11. Well, you never had to "listen hard" with Moon! LOL *ducking*
  12. The RD is one of those love-it-or-hate-it models. I'd be concerned about flipping it down the road, which might prove harder to do than your SG.
  13. Well, there goes the surprise of my new signature.
  14. What's wrong with Ringo?!? Sure, he was doofy and annoying, but he was a hell of a time keeper. So, he was doofy, annoying and had the musicianship of a wristwatch. Perfect. I'll take a dead Moon over a live Timex. I'm just being hard on the guy because .
  15. They rationale for having a loser like Ringo in the band.
  16. That's what I thought it was at first!!
  17. lol - Steve Fucking Vai can make any face he wants.
  18. Gotta love those hammer and wood chisel hum bucker retro-fit jobs!
  19. LOL! Those were some of the best, albeit unearned, guitar faces I have ever seen. I thought is was bad when he was just mugging like Derek Zoolander, but holy crap!
