It's a nice carve but far from "Very Thin". My Californians are very thin.

I'll pay better attention next time. I used these on my 5 string Hamer Chapparal bass and yes they are left hand.

An item manufactured in the USA returning to the USA does not require US Customs Taxes or at least it didn't in 2021. This was a link directly to the law from when I purchased a Hamer Max from Japan and DHL was trying to collect duties. It is now broken but I'm sure the info is there somewhere. I have pictures of the headstock, SN which show the guitar was manufactured in the USA. Please notice they say HAMER USA not HAMER JAPAN as they were never manufactured there. It doesn't say Made in KOREA, MADE in Indonesia or China where Hamers were made and their origin clearly marked on the back of the headstock. I own 0095 which is a elongated cavity and 0166 which is a cand corn. So somewhere between those two. Sorry I can't be of more help. HamRex

Just a glue in maple neck. This is my 87 Chaparral with a Floyd. You should be able to see the tighter grain and lighter shade from Maple on neck while the Mahogany body has a larger grain and darker. Again the same for my 91 Studio with a Tremolo. Both have flame maple tops covering the neck joint on top so no maple showing. Just glued in necks. There are a few Sold Chaparrals on Reverb that were refinished and the person stained or painted the maple showing.

I believe this guitar has a maple neck to support the Tremolo. The area on top is were the maple neck joint is visible. If you were to remove the pickup it would continue. I hope I'm correct and this helps. HamRex
