  1. You have to love the way Rob backs his stuff.
  2. Both!!! My brain still hurts.....but I went back and listened a couple of time.....
  3. Damn!!! If that doesn't trigger an acid flashback. nothing will.
  4. I have a freebee subscription to Premiere Guitar. Seems as good as any.
  5. That's the ticket!!! That is exactly what I have. I doubt a burst of any kind will be found. If you get the 95 Studio you won't be sorry.
  6. Since I did my first kit last year (18 watt Marshallesque TMB) I'll be looking to do another, maybe a Tweed Deluxe, after I move and get my garage setup with a proper work space. Anyone looking to to build or in the process of building an amp? I'm always looking for ideas and to enhance my paltry knowledge on the subject.
  7. I just started using Dunlop Ultex 1.14. It has a Rhino image on it. Muy excellante!!! JMHO
  8. SCCCHHHWWIIIINNNNGGGG!!!!!! I'd scrape up pennies for that amp!!!
  9. DOES THE $500.00 INCLUDE A HSC? Sorry I didn't mean to yell.
  10. I remember that one and a couple of others he posted over the years. The man has a gift.
  11. Looks more like a Poe job minus the chewing gum.
  12. Holy crap another youngin...... Happy Birthday Mike!
  13. I must confess I did like "Help Me Rhonda" and "Good Vibrations" when they were first released. My only excuse is I was a teeny booper at the time. Mike Love is the lowest form of pond scum. All those years of TM and he is still a total failure as a human being.
  14. I had a 98 P-90 Goldtop that was the most LP sounding of any Hamer I have owned. It compared to the 54 and 56 P-90 loaded LPs. I still regret having to sell it, it was a freak, one of a kind. My Mahogany Studio, loaded with Pearly Gates is close. Very Billy Gibbonsesque but then again, anything I play through my 18 watt Marshall clone sounds like the Rev without trying.
  15. +1. I had a Hot Rod 50+ that did that. I had that amp for 9 years or so. My son misses it.
  16. Hey! aren't you the kid from Crossroads?
  17. There's no such thing as a blackface Showman with reverb, Dual or otherwise. Early SF amps often have the old AB763 tube chart, but most don't really have that circuit. I hate to break it to you but I have not only seen one I played through one. Rare as they are, they are out there. I owned a SF Showman with the A/B 763 Circuit back in the early 90's. Another amp I should have held on to.
  18. Tons of Fender amp info and parts here: Fender Field Guide FYI....The BF Dual showman has reverb and the standard BF Showman is built with the same AB763 as many of the other BF Fenders. The early SF Showman have the AB763 circuit also.
  19. I picked up an new SG Classic in March. I replaced the stock P-90's with a set of Lollars and have been playing the piss out of it ever since. It is a much better guitar than my first SG, a Standard with a Bigsby I bought in 73.
