I think I sold my identical one too cheap.

I know it's like putting lipstick on a pig but IF I were to spring for one of these, I'd also spring for a set of Steinberger tuners.

No. I bought mine for $550 shipped from Canada after a guy had it for a month and realized he couldn’t bond with the shape. They were $649 new, and $799 on Joe Bonamassa’s merch site (link still exists), but his came with a “hand-signed certificate of authenticity”. Some sellers may have asked those prices a year or two ago, but they usually sell on Reverb for @$1,200 or so.
I was honestly expecting these new Epis to be in the $750-$800 range when a few pics got leaked online last summer, but this is just silly. I strongly suspect that these will end up like the Epiphone Korina Vs and Standards they released last summer for $1,299. After the first batch got snatched up by the PreOrder Fanbois, I’ve seen many dozens sitting for 6-8 months unsold, and dealers dropping the prices to well below $1,000 for those. I suspect we’ll see something similar here.
Mine is honestly a great guitar…especially for an Epiphone, but it’s no Gibson.I've always had a soft spot for FB's, particularly via johnny Winter's V and Steve Stills' 1. and when these FB 1's showed up I got all excited, but not *that* excited. The banjo tuners have always made me leery too.

Wow!, Great score! I saw that one advertised and was disheartened that it was halfway around the world. There's some stuff called Ozium over here that is a good deodorizer. Or try leaving it out in the sun open for a few days.

Yep. More overall volume and clean headroom as well as a bit more top end on tap, over the midrange-forward nature of tweed amps.

1993 was the transition year for neck thickness. So, does this one have the thinner neck or the medium neck?
Steve, I'd have to say medium. For some reason I had a handful of '93's and a couple of them were definitely skinnier than this one.

Gotta rip another band-aid off. This was my very first Hamer. Even though I'd seen and fondled some of the very first Standards, the guitar, the money and I didn't wind up all in the same place until this one came along.
It a '93 in very good condition with some minor honest play wear, polish swirls, etc. It's completely stock except for a switch to Schaller strap locks. My go-to "something with humbuckers" for 30 years. Hate to see it go. PLUS, it has the uber-cool uber-rare checkerboard TKL case.
Offered here first for an HFC good buddy price. $1,250 plus actual ship. Cash, MO, PayPal F&F (only). CONUS only.

Since I first saw one of those, just like that one, it has been my dreamboat "one of these days" guitar.

From experience...
I used a Loudbox Mini Charge for a number of casual things, farmer's markets and the like, mostly outdoors where the idea was to "waft" over a parking lot. Up close it was reasonably loud and very intelligible. I also used a Trace Elliot all in one pedalboard, powered by a Volto battery pack. For inside stuff such as the things you mentioned, I'd think it would be all you'd need since your audience would be 1) inside and 2) up close. Top tip: put it up on a folding chair or similar, just for better dispersion.
OH and a big Plus to Guitars For Vets. I don't know if he still does it, but Dean Zelinsky used to make a G4V model where, if you bought one, a vet got one free. Pretty good guitar too.

OK, f you don't want my amp, howzabout a guitar?
If Hamer decided to build a Corvette, this would be it. Light, Fast, Sparkly and Rude.
Up next is an '00 Vanguard that I think I got from somebody here.
All stock, very little yellowing, but you can leave it in the sun for a couple of years and have a goldtop if you like. 😅 Minimal fretwear, one pinhead-sized ding that I can't even find at the moment and a finish crack along the bottom bout. It has been well cared for since I got it, only gigged once, studio work otherwise. OHSC in VG to Excellent condition, just a few minor tolex scuffs.
The deets: $1150 plus actual shipping or reasonable offer. Cash, MO, Paypal F&F (only). Holler with questions here or at: tomteriffic1952ATwohDOTrrDOTcom

What is a “convenience outlet?”. can’t say i’ve seen that before now . thanks
They used to be pretty common, particularly on the backs of blackface-era Fender amps. This is (obviously) a more modern variant on that theme.

Edited for better photos and a shameless bump. Need to move this

Time to rip some Band Aids off, this one is first
This is a tweed Pro Junior with an out of focus front pic. Camera croaked right after. It's in generally good shape except that a previous owner wanted a "convenience outlet" mounted on the side. That's the bad. The good? Good tubes, Mojotone power, GT pre's. The even better? Much as an Eminence Ragin' Cajun transforms a Fender Super Champ XD/X2, an Eminence Copperhead does the same for this baby. More volume, more clean headroom and a bit of a lifted top end. Still the same grab 'n' go box of cool only more. It's one half of my grab and go rig and I'll miss it.
I'm asking $425 (plus actual shipping) but am open to reasonable offers. Cash, MO or PP friends & family (only). The less time I have to spend dealing with the IRS the better. As I write this it's too damn cold to rummage around in the garage to find a suitable box and packing materials, but I'll get 'er out ASAP.
Never mind the "convenience outlet", hell you might find it handy. I did. This is a good one. hit me here or at: tomteriffic1952AT woh DOT rr DOT com

Just prior to buying my first Hamer (1994) I was at the fresh-off-a-divorce "Awright, dammit, I'm gonna buy a nice guitar" spot. I went back to my old friend Mike's "friendly but spendy" guitar shop. I fondled a couple of TCM's for quite a while before deciding the ergonomics, despite the top edge carve, just weren't for me. Damn fine guitars, though.
