  1. Do you remember who won the one at your jam? That was a good time!
  2. I heard one years ago when MCChris hosted a jam at his cafe. The jam was so crowded that I was unable to get on stage, unfortunately, but I heard that Valvetech just smoke every other amp there, including a Dr. Z. The designer donated the amp to give away. I know he was a HFC member, but I can’t remember who it was. Anyone know which member it was?
  3. Two more Bob Wallace custom guitars and maybe a tube amp on my horizon.
  4. First pic I've ever seen of JeffR without the middle finger salute!
  5. Dammit! It's playing on my system. I'll send someone else the file if they wanna give it a shot. I don't know what else to do. Try this . . . http://mrgibsonsnewblog.blogspot.com/2014/11/howzabout-little-video.html
  6. I re-uploaded the video above. I think it works now.
  7. I got a message about it being blocked in some countries because of copyright. I'll try to redo it tomorrow. No excuses for my lack of photoshop skills. I just dropped the Pirate off at UPS. Get ready JeffR!
  8. Running behind schedule. I got my pics and recordings finished but didn't get it shipped today. Sorry! Too much crap going on. Tomorrow, I'll upload pics and video and get it to UPS.
  9. The issue is dead. I had a meeting scheduled to go look over the books and discuss the business in general. I was 99% sure I didn't want to deal with it, but I wanted to be 100% sure. Right before I left school to head to the meeting, I got a text from him that he'd sold it out from under me. The City Manager, with whom I had discussed the possibility of the acquisition, went behind my back and tipped off a crony of hers who owns a paper in the next town over. That woman contacted the current owner, and he lied through his teeth, telling her that I had declined. Needless to say, I gave him hel
  10. Starting working on pics today. Due to liability reasons, I'm using my considerable photoshop skills to hide my students' faces in the pic. I'll work on a video tomorrow too if I have time. After school, box it up and ship it to Cajun Country!
  11. I'll try to get my video made and uploaded this afternoon. JeffR, I tried to PM you but your inbox must be full. Send me a shipping addy and I'll get the Pirate on its way early-mid next week.
  12. That's like me eating a burrito and handing you the wrapper as I'm licking the bean juice off it. The heart of journalism (not advertising revenue, but pure journalism) is making a difference in your community. You have done and continue to do that with the youth in your community, Marty. Well said, my friend. Right now, I don't know what I'm going to do. Stress level is through the roof. I need the supplementary income, and I really enjoyed doing the newspaper. Do I take it over and retool it to be more profitable? Do I go back to selling light bulbs at Menards? Do I . . . ? The questions ar
  13. And now we have the whole story. I didn't get paid last week, prior week's check may have bounced. He's killing the paper or I can have it at no cost.
