  1. Damn Steve, ever thing of just turning it down a notch? šŸ˜‚
  2. I set out to achieve a very balanced instrument that was almost ā€œHiFiā€ and ā€œ3Dimensionalā€. I wanted clarity, string definition, string to string separation, a quick, percussive bottom end. The definitive ā€œTele on steroidsā€ Everything mattered to me, the Underwound Gravelins, the Mahogany with a top that added beauty and elegance but didnā€™t distract from the fact that I love all Mahogany Guitars, and the bridge to translate the strings to the wood without becoming ā€œthe soundā€ of the guitar like I believe the Sustainblock does. Mikeā€™s Bridge takes the Sustainblock forward and itā€™s a wonderful bridge that I really really had to think about using because I was worried about how it would sound. In the end, it was the perfect way to go for this guitar, and Mike chambered the guitar which I believe was a great compliment to the overall guitar. I do not regret the bridge or the simple two knob setup. Team Shishkov was great to work with, and even though I had this almost fully formed idea of what I wanted, I felt challenged and grateful for the talks that I had with Mike and Josh. I trust them and let them do the work. Hey when I got the guitar I didnā€™t know what I was really going to look like or sound like. Mike picked out the inlay work and the added these little details that you can only get when you work one on one with a builder. Josh and I had had this amazing discussion about pickups for almost 2hrs on the phone one day and these came out of that discussion. When people ask me what magnets are in them, or what wire, my reply is ā€œI donā€™t know and I donā€™t careā€, I asked for the pickups translate that the guitar sounds like and Josh brought the magic home. My one regret, I wrapped up so much sentimental investment into the guitar, and there is and will only be one of them in the world, that I just canā€™t throw it in the car and go. It is getting played and I love it, almost too much. I have considered ordering another in a more stripped down form as my go anywhere do everything guitar because it is so amazing.
  3. Thanks gentlemen 0105 is a killer guitar. Team Shishkov went above and beyond as they do with every guitar before and after this one. You will not regret the wait. Josh Gravelin is the man!
  4. I just want to note that Mike sent 0105 out with speed knobs on it, and I wasnā€™t sure about the look. That all went out the window once I used the guitar. I work my volume all the time and they are so easy on the finger. Not very often do I see another build that makes me jealous but DAMN that is HOTTT!
  5. I think you and 0090 make a great pair, it would hold you over until retirement or your Shishkov arrives.šŸ˜
  6. #0070 was the only one to make the stage. #0090 Specā€™ed to be the workhorse didnā€™t make it before the bandā€™s demise. #0105 is my forever masterpiece. I wouldnā€™t sell it for a Million. 1.1 we might talk. Lol
  7. @kizanski Iā€™m surprise @The Shark didnā€™t just come straight at me out of the gate. Lol
  8. I look around at the great gear I have and think WTF am I doing?
  9. I like Dimarzioā€™s well enough, but I have always thought that that trademark was BS.
  10. Spring for the Reeves Cab, they are fantastic.
  11. People do not like it when they start telling me about a guitar on Pawn Stars and I just say ā€œ Fake Bullshitā€. I never watch any of that BS.
  12. Iā€™m certain I wonā€™t regret it. Back to the sale of an amazing guitar!
  13. Iā€™ve been Less-Hamer for a long while. Thatā€™s why I bought the Monaco Special M, but now I have three Shishkovā€™s. As far as other brands, itā€™s SGā€™s and Telecaster. Iā€™d like to spit out one SG and one Tele and turn them into a Gretsch Jet Firebird.
  14. Iā€™ve owned them all by know donā€™t you think? My taste out weighs my talent and I like what I like.
  15. Any offer below the already reasonable price is tragic IMHO. The Superpro is a wonderful and amazing guitar, the ā€œGrand Pianoā€ of the Hamer Line.
