  1. That the problem... I do buy almost everything cool that comes up. Just because I love guitars!
  2. Hahahaha! Thx Bubs. That provided a much needed laugh. Seriously on my very very short list. But i'm sitting next to my wife filling out this thing that people call a budget and this isn't on it.
  3. Wow. Just... wow! Seriously. Paul told me some time ago (as did Peter Wolf, who I understand is now with Knaggs and was formerly PRS) that Hamer exported quite a few guitars to Germany in the 80s-one of their biggest markets. In that picture I see the color. That's an awsome top and finish.
  4. Is that Red Wine on that Studio? That looks awsome!
  5. Glad to see that your ok.
  6. I checked out the tones on their website that just amazing.
  7. Amazingly enough, given the size of the logo, i have had a few people point right at the logo and ask me what kind of amp i use. I usually respond with "No hablo ingles..." LOL! They could have used the logo size that was on the Head, its smaller. I still love this amp. Gonna get another one. Thats still less than the Mesa Runs.
  8. Your gonna love it! 77 BCR Repaired Head with Rio's!
  9. Greg the best part of this repair is the part that nobody noticed. Their are no longer any mini switch's. I had to go back to the first page and then I was like wait a second......
  10. Badass! I love my 77 which was also repaired by Greg after the head was broken for what I gather for the second time. Sounds great and plays great. This one is sharp looking.
  11. Good Choice going with the Rio's! I love them in my 77.
  12. If it has 2 pickups it is no longer a Jr, it is a Special. The magic of the Jr is in the fact that the neck joint isn't messed with in any way because of the lack of the neck pup. A Special and a Jr do not sound the same IMHO. Easy fix Triplebucker! Yes. If you've never played a Hamer this is why Yes is the right answer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJqmAbrEhIY...L&index=155

  14. Bass Players..... Seriously that sounds cool, do a C/O i'd like to see how it turns out.
  15. I love Ebony but I never seem to snag a guitar with Ebony. So since I have like 10 guitars with Rosewood i'll say Rosewood.
  16. Finally someone through that out there. Such a small detail but speaks volumes.
  17. oh they got the tooling.. they made phantom customs in Connecticut you know They made this one 5 years ago: <Salute!> Killer. Make it that with a Standard headstock and Boomers.... . I'll take mine just Mahogany and natural but with a P90 in the neck and with none of the other stuff.
  18. I'm in if you do another BCR Jr. run similar to or as pic'd. Those were awesome guitars! I'd buy one but nobody is selling. They must be good.
  19. Feasible? Sure. Except that I doubt you'd get 10 people here who would pony up that kind of $$ for a modified Special. Agreed on the Gibson copy thing, except it costs more and has 1/2 the resale value. The Standard Junior, even if it cost a little more, is more unique/interesting. ...or a takeoff of the Prototype... This still floats to the original idea. I'm game for a Special/Jr Shape with the PhantoGlide Pickup Setup. Its a Simple guitar with a wide tonal range. The Sustainblock just screams HFC.
  20. Legend has it that you don't like Vectors because your 4' -3" tall.... I kid of course.
  21. Sounds like a Real Man's gutiar to me. I would pitch the extra couple hundred in for a custom color even if its not sparkle.
