  1. Yes, if it'll be recorded I'll post it. It's just a couple of weeks until the concerts are on! Thanks for your interest for my music! 🙂
  2. It surely is! A free concert series with both old and new music! 😁🙋🏻‍♂️
  3. Hi guys! Well, anyone who knows me you know I'm from Sweden, composing new classical music. Guess my luck when I was approached in December by a german string quartet wanting to play MY music in the Ludwighafen area this fall. Actually four concerts just two weeks from now... see photo. I wrote this piece - an oboe quintet - that they heard on youtube and wanted to perform. Now during the months gone we have agreed for me to re-write it for flute and string quartet just because we feel it would sound better. 🙂 So I've asked for a week off from my teaching job here in Sweden to come down for two of the four performances. It will be fantastic, not only the cred and the music but also visiting "The Tuscany of Germany", as someone called the area! It is postcard perfect, and very beautiful down there. So, any of our German HFC'rs wanting to join me there on the 5th or 6th of October - you are warmly welcome for this nice classical event. All the best to you all, /Curt Wrango
  4. The guitar looks fantastic! But let me be curious for a second...it is interesting to hear about reason as to why the two f's are placed at different heights...? Look there at the placement compared to the pup hole... that they're not aligned (as on a violin or cello). or compare with the f's on the this Superpro...they are same height Just wondering...
  5. One of the greatest albums ever. Been listening to it since it was released... late 1970 Been listening constantly, at least once a year, for 48 years...go figure!! Was it the first 3-LP set (of pop/rock music)? (PS Not listening to the improvised last tracks of course....the ones on Lp no 3, no-one does that, I guess..)
  6. Hejsan!! Great news, and well done, sounds great so far... Of course I'd like a copy. So I'll text you on messenger or such tomorrow! Take care! / Vi hörs!! /Curt
  7. He was a nice guy! My deepest condolences, /Curt
  8. Thanks Gorch!! My music sounds really great on that organ! You recieved my emails with the plain music score and then you orchestrated the music greatly, well done - by selecting from the 42 different pipes and sounds of that organ - just like as an ordinary organ player does, when sitting by the instrument, before playing the music. And you used up all of your winter holiday for it. Please, accept my humble appreciation! 😄 (I wonder if laymen really knows how many combinations of stops and levers that needs to be pulled and pressed to achieve such variety of sounds!)
  9. Oj, vilken fantastiskt snygg gitarr! Grattis! /hälsar Curt
  10. Me playing my dream guitar - a 2007 Studio Custom that I ordered for myself. 8 lbs weight limit, tummy bevel, Ebony neck, premium quilt, black transparent. Now recently fitted with an excellent Gravelin Charlotte bridge pu... Can you imagine? (Neck pu is a Seymour Duncan Jazz!) The fantastic crew at the Hamer workshop did a remarkable job with this one! (My most heartfelt thanks to them forever!)

  12. Have we seen all of the finished six first Ultimates yet?!?
  13. Black transparent quilt and ebony... Just like I like it!! Sweet!!! (Congrats!)
  14. It is my custom ordered Black trans Studio Custom, from the spring of 2007. <--- The one in my avatar on the left.... I paid just about $ 3000, including shipping and taxes (to Sweden). As it is just about perfect and priceless etc it is the best buy I have ever made. I am truly one lucky guy, forever thankful to the Hamer workshop staff.
  15. Great and very beautiful guitar ...and also, like, historical! (The first and the last Hamer was a Standard...) I'm happy for you! (Everyone of us that have ordered a custom made Hamer knows the feeling of holding it for the first time! My Studio Custom - see the avatar on the left - feels like heaven!) .
  16. I'm lost for words... I feel sad for all you Hamer people. I love you all. . Still I am a very lucky owner of two remarkable and fantastic instruments.
  17. Greenslade Hard Stuff Sir Lord Baltimore Trapeze Groundhogs and Opeth!
  18. Always fun to hear "more" about stuff that interests you. Like the "making-of" parts of some dvds. Here we got to hear very interesting stuff that was about our beloved book. Sweet!! Thanks. .
  19. Yes, sorry. I have the serial # book next to me at work. We've been slaved by the Guild lately. I'm going to look yours up tomorrow. I'll also talk to Mike S.(Northfield) to see if he has any pics. I'll also see if they still have the order in the computer to see if we can reprint the custom order specs.Bm Thanks a million! :-)
  20. [ PS: Jackass - did you read my PM - sent to you about two weeks ago? ] .
  21. Ok, the book is AWESOME! Again thank you and I'm so very happy with it. Beautifully made too! But, in the listings of the models i'm missing the Studio (Custom) and the Talladega. Two types of some significance... especially since the Studio to me is an updated Sunburst. And the Talladega is the last proper model made... So I wonder if there is a reason for why they are overlooked/omitted. Or will they perhaps be covered in the second book?
  22. Got it yesterday. I love the book! Thanks!!
  23. I pm'd you Serial. If you can get them signed I'd like two copies from you. Possible? I'd like one as well! Disturber, could we do a Swedish package of some kind? If it's doable then I'm in. Sentinel might be interested as well. I'd like two copies - signed or not - thanks!!
  24. Well, at least we had a good run. I'm extremely happy that I at least made one custom order - see my avatar - for a fantastic guitar that I still own. I also bought two other new ones. (Had I had the funds for it I've had a dream of a very special Talladega Pro custom order, for a couple of years, but that boat has sailed now.) Sadness and some anger... and a LOT of thankfullness for the ones I have and also for the Hamer builders - let them know that, Kim!
