  1. Quite the circuitous route to get here….after stupidly selling my TopHat Supreme Sixteen to help fund a jet ski I didn’t get, I missed that Vox tone. Bought an amp from @bubs_42, traded it for a Budda which @Travisbought and sold a bunch of other stuff. The seller happened to be a trading buddy of @bubs_42 (what a coincidence) and I freaking scored. This Carolina Blue tolex matches my TopHat Mini Junior HG which is all Marshall. I love this amp. The Mk5 does both Top Boost and Normal channels via a switch. Does Vox perfectly and the added mid control interacts with the treble control to also nail Marshall 18 watt tones. I want it for Vox tones so I swapped in an Emi Red Fang for that chime and grit. Instant Petty tones. Add a treble booster and we are into Blackmore era Purple. My G&L Legacy and my Firebird love this amp. In addition to a treble booster, a Hotcake clone and a Timmy work really well. Strymon Flint for verb if needed but the oversized cab brings a lot of air by itself. Just sharing cause I am officially now done with amps. I have 4 that cover every need I have, sonically.
  2. In the short time I owned it, the Drive channel DID love a treble booster!!
  3. That glove smell…Big Mac and fries is the BEST case scenario there……
  4. Excellent condition and very gently used at church. Has Vox Normal, Top Boost and a JMP channel. Has an XLR out, FX loop, headphone out. The reverb is surprisingly good. 3 cab sims. Read the reviews. Excellent recording and direct to FOH solution. But it will drive any amp cab. Use with 9v supply and it goes down to 1 watt. Only selling because the church gig changed to just me on acoustic SOLD and SHIPPED
  5. Like new CAR SST I traded for. This is a fun pedal that has 3 settings: top is a Bender fuzz that NAILS Zep 1 with a Tele. Middle sounds more like a treble booster and it does Zep 2 very, very well…like Heartbreaker, Lemon Song, Moby Dick…..where Page used a bright Vox amp with built in fuzz. Bottom setting is a thicker, sludgier fuzz. This pedal has rightfully been called Zep in a box. Why am I selling? I no longer have a proper Tele and I have scads of treble booster that get me Zep 2. SOLD
  6. Bubs loves the cbread Topanga. I currently have the Flint and love it. The 70s Plate setting is worth the cost of admission….well, that and the 60s Harmonic Trem! Cheaper options include the Hermida Spring and especially the Lovepedal 60s Reverb. That thing sounds just like a real tank but the Flint offers so much more.
  7. Blue and Lonesome is incredible and authentic Chicago blues by men who studied, loved, and played it for decades. The new album sounds great on the 3 tracks I have heard so far. Ronnie says they are gonna tour to support it in the USA and he also said there will be a Faces reunion with Rod and Kenny.
  8. That tight bright crunch is exactly how Tango sounds. And that Charlie Standard is beautiful. Sorry that happened to you, Chris.
  9. The T51 I just traded here for an EBMM Silhouette had made the HFC rounds, and for good reason. It was an incredible Tele type. I’d buy one again, no problem.
  10. Somebody buy this one for the bridge and then buy my two black ones for the neck and middle and create the most versatile guitar ever with the Triple Shot rings. Just wire them up as a normal Strat 5 way and then have over 20 pickup combos at your fingertips!
  11. I gigged like that for a solid decade with several NMV amps. It was so much fun, especially with a 5e3, 6g3, or an 18 watt Marshall clone.
  12. SOLDGibson 57 Classic/Classic + set. Like new. Black bobbins. 2 conductor. Came out of a Firebird I just installed birds in. SOLD SOLD Seymour Duncan P-Rails set with Triple Shot rings. Black. Good condition. Extremely versatile. Does P90, single coil Strat, humbucker in series, and humbucker in parallel. The P90 sounds especially good. SOLD Dimarzio DP110 EB Strat middle pickup with black cover. Came out of an EBMM Silhouette I just traded for. Great shape. Sounds like a Strat. $35
  13. I look forward to hearing the recordings done on that bad boy.
