All this time I thought the "A" in B12A stood for Jeff "A"ment.

I'll be there. I'm expecting a greatest hits show. I hope they ditch the goofy stage props for this tour. They've been there, done that.

Grissom's solo during the finale was the best of the night. Doyle III was disappointing as was Gary Clark Jr.

That's not Watson - it's Joel Hoekstra Yeah, I should have been more precise. Needs Jeff Watson. Needs him playing a Watson.

^ Needs Watson playing a Watson.

Did you somehow miss the hundreds of posts about Shishkov guitars? The WMG is alive and well.

The infamous pinch harmonics -any great moments?

I agree with this other than that I was a huge fan when I was in my teens. Not so much anymore. I think there was a time where I just found speed impressive and didn't know enough to know that what he was doing was far more about endurance than creativity. Honestly, I think the solo on "Sweet Jesus" is my favorite thing he ever did, but his singing is... an acquired taste. It's not hard, it just sounds pleasant. http://youtu.be/DHBkLY-0UKo?t=2m22s Nowadays, I would have to say Jake E. Lee was my favorite guitarist Ozzy ever had (I know, I know, Randy). The chorus riff in "Bark at the Moon" remain one of the coolest riffs ever recorded, IMO. As far as PHs, I'm going to have to go with Billy Gibbons and the guitar work on Skynyrd's version of "Call Me the Breeze." For worst PHs, I'm nominating Robbie Robertson's in pretty much all of The Last Waltz. He irritates me to know end on what is otherwise one of my favorite recordings, though I guess some may disagree. An example: http://youtu.be/rP7r12Rg490?t=3m10s Good call on Robbie. Those were awful. I despise his playing in general, though. Love the rest of The Band. -

Some different ones that came to mind... Beginning of second "Comfortably Numb" solo. Skid Row "I Remember You" solo. Every Zakk Wylde song. Every Danzig song when John Christ was the guitarist. And one you guys might not know but in the Kenny Chesney song "Never Wanted Nothing More" the guitarist really pinches a good one on the first note of electric solo (around the 2:00 mark.) -
This guitar makes no sense to me

That Cali is so insane. Maybe the best "natural" finished guitar I've ever seen. -
I'd say same builders, same tools, same shop, same/similar designs... which is what we're talking about with the WMG.
-
I'm totally hip to the "provide your own pickups" idea. A choice of routes would be cool. I'm thinking just a coil-tapped bridge HB. Question... if the WMG is unfinished, would it be shipped fully assembled or not?
-
I think Master Northfield was referring to my "send to Stike" option as the cost-saving measure. A bolt-on would save money, too, but it wouldn't be just another "F" guitar? Unless, of course, we're talking Cali shapes!
-
My latest idea would be a double-cut or Tally shape, all 'hog, HB in bridge, P90 or Mini-HB in neck (choice), Sustain Block, dots, no binding, 2 vol/1 tone, 3-way toggle, with an upgraded maple top option. I'm sure this same idea was proposed multiple times earlier. But, how about a no-finish, send straight to Stike, option???

Jeremy spoke in, class todayyyyyyyyyyyy. -
Can you find the transaction on eBay? If so, maybe you can start a case with eBay. I'm sure you have serial number, receipt, etc. showing you purchased it and you'll have the police report with dates proving it was sold after the fact.
-
Here's my idea: The Hamer shapes/designs with plain tops, no binding, dot inlays, minimal options, etc. at affordable prices. $1500 or less. Kind of like the PRS S2 series or the Suhr Pro series.
