  1. I've been to Guitarlington a couple of times, and it's a great place to simply take in all of the guitars and gear on display! I'd love to go again some day but, unfortunately, it's not going to happen this year. Have fun if you go!
  2. Yeah, I wish I could spend freely, but retirement is an entirely different story than how it was when I had steady income flowing in. It seems that selling on the used guitar market is pretty sluggish these days as well.
  3. Yup......Point Special Beer and their Root Beer are common beverages in our neck of the woods. Although, I'll have to admit that some of the smaller micro breweries are producing much better beer. The Point Root Beer is great!
  4. I'm actually near Stevens Point, but driving to the Madison area isn't a problem. I used to live in Dane County, so I know the area quite well. The problem is that I just purchased a guitar at the end of June, but if I had known that this Tally was going to be up for sale, I probably would've grabbed it in a heartbeat. I'm also retired and a bit short on funds at the moment, so I don't think that I can realistically consider making this purchase. Although, there's no doubt that I've been very tempted!
  5. Yeah, I've enjoyed mine since the day I purchased it from you! Of course, prices are up a bit these days, though.
  6. If I'm not mistaken, I think the two Tallys used to hang out together at Django's place several years ago:
  7. Ha! You may be right......LOL. It's within driving distance, too. The thought of that isn't helping much, either.
  8. Oh man......this is indeed very tempting. Question is, do I really need a second Talladega Pro? Also, for anyone who may be concerned about the V-neck profile, if it's anything like mine, it's a pretty mild V.
  9. Funny, but I've purchased more guitars than I can count from Dave's, and at the moment I don't think that I have a single one left. Although, it's been my favorite music store since he opened shop in the mid '80s.
  10. I had one just like this one - same color and all (except the knobs) - and foolishly sold it a few years ago.......ugh!
  11. Well, the Braz works for me........ Can't wait to check her out!
  12. Hope is to mod the look so its a bit more black and white checkerboard to make it evident immediately where you are. Sounds good!
  13. This appears to be the same software as the Heritage Owners Club (HOC) website, so as long as I don't forget which forum I'm in, I should be fine with this......LOL.
