I think that's just part of this stage character.  Be weird and be different. The times I've seen him he seems very genuine and humble. Sucha great player.  His Wildwood videos are always a good laugh, and you get to see and hear awesome gear.

 It has the nut used on guitars with Kahlers in that era. If the pickups are stock, it could be a late 80's If i could be picked up cheap, great. you'll have several hundred at a min. to get the neck fixed correctly.  what the serial # ?

1996 Hamer USA Mirage II - Maple top version, Kool Blue finish. All stock other than the neck pickup has been swapped out with a Seymour Duncan Seth Lover pickup. The volute has a ding on it. I always keep several clothes pins in my guitar repair area. They work great for holding wires/pots/switches oriented when soldering. 

97 PRS McCarty Goldtop. Bought it used in 99, it was a good one. Part of the neck was flamed Mahogany. Regret selling it off in about 16-17' time frame.  Late 90's EBMM Axis Supersport, had the big pickguard, had a really great neck. I think traded it even for a 79 Sunburst.  89's Scotty Hill...

Im sure Gibson did a ES-330 with humbuckers while they were being made the now closed Memphis plant. I have seen a few pop on the used market.
