I will never forget the red original Gibson Victory guitar in this Swedish mail order catalogue from the early 1980's. I thought the Victory looked the most like a heavy metal guitar so It was what I wanted more than any of the other models. I could look at those pages for hours. All I could afford was a Hondo Jr.

I’ll buy a Gibson when they bring the Les Paul XPL back they made for Aldo Nova.  Rick has two if I recall correctly. I wonder if Aldo still has any?

this should be a re-issue. Faded finish, 50's neck.
