For all you builders and repair folks. I'm building another amp with the AB763 Circuit and came across some resistors that where supposed to be 820 ohm resistors,  correct color Gray red brown. When I measured them to install they measured 820k ohms. Multiplier should be yellow!

So measure your parts before you install. Can't trust anything these day's. Last build I had a new electrolytic cap that the ESR said it was shot. Brand new!!! Measure and double check!! I'll get off my soapbox now!!

I have used Fluke for commercial work and personal use for decades and still have them... pricey though

You can actually pick up a cheapie at harbor freight for $6

Fluke 87 for me. Been using them for 30 years, they are solid. You can them used for a decent price.

When my beloved auto ranging Fluke died after 15 years (and a healthy drop on concrete) I picked up this from a local electronics shop.

Not auto ranging, but has lots of nice features. $27.

I recently found a Fluke 25 at a yard sale. Auto ranging but a big fella to handle.

That was a good yard sale score!
