Steve Haynie Posted May 11, 2025 Posted May 11, 2025 That was last year. I had gotten some signed CD's through his website not too long before that. When John Mayall did a show in his early 80's he was a fireball on stage. At 86 he decided to cut back on shows outside of California.

shankyboy Posted May 15, 2025 Posted May 15, 2025 Thankfully, I got to see him once. It was for the grand opening party of the Delta Blues Museum. (Along with Coco Taylor and Buddy Guy)
alantig Posted May 15, 2025 Posted May 15, 2025 Saw him twice. First time Mick Taylor opened. The second time, some guys named Buddy Guy and Junior Wells. Mayall was good that night, but Buddy Guy OWNED that place. Both times Mayall had Coco Montoya and Walter Trout.
