I've had a few.  All gone now, of course.

This one started like this.

Now it looks like this.

Currently part of the Kizanski wing of @The Shark Collection.

"The Riff"
This one was a beast.

1997 Standard rescued from Canada for the price of $825 - shipped.

2006 Standard.
I honestly forgot that I had owned it.

Another 2006 Standard (which I also forgot that I had owned).

Extra credit:
1976 Gibson Explorer purchased form the original owner.
I was there when he bought it new in 1977 and wanted it for what seems like all of my life.
Funny thing once you achieve a goal. The object is no longer important.

Didn't expect this thread to get so deep, did you?
Now you have something to think about.

Mahogany is the bomb, lots of nice guitars in this thread.

I recall an article years ago where PRS said there is nothing quite like a solid mahogany body with a glued-in neck. My first decent guitar was a Melody Maker. Also had a 1964 SG with Maestro Vibrato in the late 70s

Would "The Victim" qualify?

I'm a bit biased, but sure!
And I still have it!

I love how one thought can become the seed for a good read. 😎👍🏁❤️
