3D Printed Guitar

Interesting YouTube video explaining part of the process of mapping out a guitar body.

I know this is going to send the "tone wood" freaks into a frenzy, but I find it amazing what can be done these days with a 3D printer.

I also love videos where guys make guitar bodies out of epoxy filled with picks or guitar bodies made out of pencils...

It goes on and on. The possibilities are endless.

If you don't have a 3D printer you can make a tele out of Legos too.

Zactly how much would one of those epoxy or resin guitars weigh? Maybe I'm missing the point (they do look cool), but I remember picking up one of those Dan Armstrong guitars back in the 80's. And I thought a Norlin Les Paul was heavy!

Yeah, they're probably heavy. I don't know.  Never saw one up close.

Likewise, I don't expect any of them play well enough to make you want to sell your Shishkov. I appreciate them more from a creative/artistic point of view.
