thunderbolt Posted November 30, 2025 Posted November 30, 2025 (edited) This is an '03 Hamer Newport Pro that was custom ordered by the original owner though Hamer dealer Al Pepiak. I’m the second owner. Custom options were victory inlays, bound f-holes (I think this was a $500 upcharge) and custom color. the color was spec'd to be similar to Hamer Jazzburst but with a honey/cognac center and no black at the edges. More of a subtle violin or Cremona burst. The neck is a standard Hamer medium c carve and feels really nice but not too thick. The pickups were changed to a Wolfetone custom set which is an uncovered Marshallhead mark II in the bridge and a nickel covered Dr Vintage in the neck. The volume and tone control knobs are NOS Hamer Blitz knobs supplied by Hamer. The bridge saddles are graphtech and the grover tuning buttons are ebony. The guitar weighs 6lbs 15oz and includes the original case, truss rod wrench and certificate of authentication. The Newport pro is a hollow body guitar with a carved mahogany back and a solid, carved spruce top and mahogany neck. It is really light and resonant and really sings at stage volume. The Wolfetone pickups are lightly potted and I have not had any feedback issues. Frets show minor grooves but no buzz. The guitar is set up to play with 9's. There are a couple of dings on the headstock. One is through the finish. There are a couple of dings on the body as shown in the photos. The 2 body dings were sealed by a repairman since spruce is such a soft wood. No worming or belt buckling on the back. The case is in really good shape. All latches work and the handle is in good shape too. Asking price is sold PayPal or Zelle, which includes conus only insured shipping. Any questions please let me know Edited December 22, 2025 by thunderbolt update content 10 Quote
