serial Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 I've GOTTA get there. AND bring a video cam. I'm up for other CT stuff too."I Want You To Want Me", of course, but I'd be up for "He's A Whore", "ELO Kiddies", hell, just about anything if people can do the bass, drums and vox.Of course, if Poe or someone else can do the vocals for "Love Removal Machine" or "Wildflower", I'd love to get a shot at cracking one of those off.
kizanski Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 Of course, if Poe or someone else can do the vocals for "Love Removal Machine" or "Wildflower", I'd love to get a shot at cracking one of those off. Can I get in on that?
DavidE Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 Why is it that I never heard of the songs you're talkinga bout?
elduave Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 Of course, if Poe or someone else can do the vocals for "Love Removal Machine" or "Wildflower", I'd love to get a shot at cracking one of those off. Can I get in on that? I'll do Wild Flower (vox & gtr or bass) with Serial and Kiz... David E, that's a loaded question...

Gotta throw a softball every now and then. I have no idea what songs you guys are talking about.
edgar_allan_poe Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 Just listened to Sugarbuzz and it kicks ASS!! i can't believe I have never heard that before. That should be no problem for me vocally...I'm in."Tonight its you" might be a different story though....I *might* be able to do the main part, but it will probably sound like ass without some seriously killer backup singers... You guys up for that? LOL!! "If you want my love" is a different animal because the difficult parts are all Zander, and the chorus is just gang vocalled.I am listening to "I can't take it" right now and it shouldn't be a problem but I will let you know for sure in a little bit.
cmatthes Posted July 10, 2006 Author Posted July 10, 2006 Elduave took a quick run at "I Can't Take It" on Thursday night. Great tune!

You guys up for that? LOL!! Don't worry about this one, let me know about "I Can't Take It" though...3 weeks y'all!
Stike Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 Jeeze now I actually have to learn how to PLAY "Sugarbuzz"! Can we turn "Wildflower" into a medly with AC/DC's "Rock N' Roll Singer"? Shouldn't be hard since it's the same tune .
elduave Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 The band usually plays at least one set a 1/2 step down (mostly songs I sing). So, I'll break down the sets further (by tuning) and if you're joining on a song I sing lead on and want to play yer own fiddle, please tune a half step down. Lame, I know, but that's how I roll. We'll have a multitude of guitars and basses tuned at both 440 and 1/2 step, if'n you want to grab one of ours. Kisses,ELEdited to add, not sure if I can sing that AC/DC, I'll check it out...
gfc55 Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 We'll have a multitude of guitars and basses tuned at both 440 and 1/2 step, if'n you want to grab one of ours. Kisses, EL I figured that you guys would have some guitars & basses for us out-of-town folks, but it's cool that you have already offered them for us to use. Hamer Fans are a generous bunch, plus it gives us a chance to check out some cool gear... Counting the days
cmatthes Posted July 11, 2006 Author Posted July 11, 2006 George: There's a Blue B-12'ver with your name all over it... (well, actually it says "Not Steve" on it, but you get the point, right?! )
