This is the very combo amp that won Guitar Player's boutique amp shootout, "Tones from the Unknown" in August, 2000. Beautiful burgundy tolex. Patented "sag" circuit/variable wattage output controls. Celestion Blue Alcino 15 speaker. This amp is class A w/ EL34 tubes based on a tweed deluxe platform. Very overbuilt, quiet as a mouse. The tone knob is a push/pull that switces the voicing from tweed to blackface. The sag circuit and output transformer were upgraded by Maven Peal President, David Zimmerman. with documentation. The sag circuit was upgraded to allow the wattage to be dialed to 0.5-15 watts. The output transformer was upgraded to have a Sowter transformer. Per David Zimmerman, less than 20 Zeetas were outfitted with this transformer. This amp is set up exactly like the one used by Warren Haynes on the Allman Brothers "Hittin the Note" CD (documentation included). The Zeetas have been discontinued, and this one is a rare and histroical example of the Zeeta line. This amp will be shipped in its custom road case. Extremely touch sensitive and musical amplifier.
